Experience the thrill of the sun, sea, and sand with an all-day adventure at Key West’s best public beach, Smathers Beach. The Smathers Beach pass offers an exciting opportunity to explore the stunning Key West Atlantic coast through various water activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking & sailing on a Hobie cat.
You will have the chance to sail through crystal clear waters while taking in the beauty of the largest beach in Key West. With the beach pass, you will have unlimited access to kayaks, paddleboards, Hobie cats, and a variety of floats. You can also choose to include a parasail trip or rent an umbrella and chairs for your comfort.
There are a variety of food vendors located on the beach, allowing you to make the most of your day out with family and friends. You can take a break from the water activities and indulge in some delicious local cuisine. You are free to leave and come back to the beach as many times as you wish, giving you the flexibility to explore the surrounding areas and enjoy more activities.
The beach pass is an all-inclusive package, providing you with everything you need for a fun-filled day at the beach. You can opt for a combo package that includes parasailing or one that includes an umbrella, chairs, and all the beach toys you need. Sailing lessons are available at request for an additional cost.

Our experienced beach crew offer sailing lesson on our hobie cat sailboats. These lessons are offered 9-4pm on Smathers Beach.

We bought an all-day Smathers Beach Pass from Sunset Watersports, and we're glad we did. The primary draw for us was Parasailing and taking a little sailboat (Hobie Cat) out for awhile. The parasail ride was absolutely fantastic! We really enjoyed it. We took a little Hobie Cat out for an hour or so and had a great time. Also included in the beach pass was use of beach chairs, ocean kayaks, paddleboards and the like. Get there early to enjoy the whole day at Smathers Beach!

We did the all day beach pass with two of our friends and the four of us agreed this was the best spent money of our vacation! We took a hobie cat out for hours, we were glad to have it. Afterwards we relaxed on the beach then went paddle boarding. We went out to the sandbar on the paddle boards and enjoyed the marine life we saw.
