Join us for a beautiful afternoon sail out to the reef with a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters! Jump on Key West’s newest catamaran, The Sandie Cat sailboat, for a 3-hour snorkel adventure. Come explore the world’s third-largest living coral reef on Key West’s largest and fastest snorkeling boat. Once you’re done snorkeling, enjoy unlimited draft beer, mixed well drinks, margaritas, rum runners, wine and champagne!
We have multiple snorkeling trips every day, so we know the best location to ensure the best snorkeling experience. This trip is perfect for experts and beginners. Our professional staff provides expert snorkeling instruction and equipment.
Key West is perfectly located on the world’s third largest living coral reef. This barrier reef is home to over 500 species of marine wildlife. We are fortunate to reside alongside this flourishing ecosystem and love taking guests out to enjoy some of the best snorkeling in the world.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any trip canceled before 24 hours in advance will be refunded in full. Our captains assess the weather on the day of the scheduled activity. If they determine that the trip will be unsafe, the trip will be postponed or canceled. We will immediately try to reschedule our guests’ activity if possible, but we will issue full refunds if need be.

Our reef is a dynamic ecosystem, meaning no two snorkeling adventures are ever exactly the same. Here is a look at some of the vibrant fish, unique corals and fascinating sea creatures you might encounter during your visit.
Mangrove Snapper
A highly common, reddish-grey fish that frequently gathers in large, shimmering schools around reef structures and coral ledges.
Southern Stingray
A large, diamond-shaped bottom dweller often seen gliding gracefully just above the sandy sea floor or burying itself for camouflage.
Bluestriped Grunt
A schooling fish recognizable by its yellow body, horizontal blue stripes, and the distinct grunting sound it makes by grinding its teeth.
Spotted Trunkfish
A peculiar, box-shaped reef dweller covered in white spots that swims in a comical, hovering manner.
Trumpetfish
A long, slender fish that often hangs vertically in the water column to cleverly camouflage itself among sea whips and soft corals.
Porkfish
A vibrant yellow and silver fish easily identified by the two bold, vertical black bands running across its head.
Hogfish
A uniquely shaped reef dweller with an elongated pig-like snout that it uses to root through the sandy ocean floor for hidden crustaceans.
Tarpon
Known as the “Silver King,” this massive, prehistoric-looking fish boasts large, reflective silver scales and is a legendary sight for snorkelers
Queen Angelfish
A stunningly vibrant fish featuring neon blue and yellow coloration with a distinctive crown-like spot on its forehead.
Green Moray Eel
A fascinating, snake-like predator that hides within reef crevices, appearing bright green due to a yellow mucus covering its blue-grey skin.
Grouper
These large, robust, bottom-dwelling predators are known for their stout bodies and large mouths used to swallow prey whole.
Spotted Eagle Ray
A majestic cartilaginous fish recognized by its flat, diamond-shaped body covered in white spots and a long, whip-like tail.
Butterflyfish
These graceful, disc-shaped fish are typically yellow and black, often featuring an eyespot on their dorsal fin to confuse predators.
French Angelfish
A large, striking reef dweller with a dark grey or black body beautifully accented by golden-yellow scales and a bright yellow ring around its eyes.
Sergeant Major
A small, abundant damselfish characterized by its yellowish upper body and five distinct black vertical stripes that resemble military insignia.
Blue Tang
These surgeonfish are recognizable by their striking blue bodies, yellow tail fins, and the sharp, scalpel-like spines located at the base of their tails.
Parrotfish
Known for their beak-like teeth used to scrape algae from corals, these vibrant fish play a crucial role in producing the white sand found on tropical beaches.
Yellowtail Snapper
A brightly colored fish easily identified by the distinct yellow stripe running the length of its body and its deeply forked yellow tail.

Our captains make sure to take our guests to the best reef locations. We have been snorkeling for a long time in Key West and our captains study the time of year, current, weather patterns and much more to ensure our trips go to the best snorkeling location each and every day. Some of our popular reef locations are Sand Key Light House, Eastern Dry Rocks and a few other secret locations
Depending on the reef location our sail out to the reef can take up to 40 minutes. Our brand new snorkeling catamaran is not only Key West’s newest but the fastest as well. Beating all other boats out to ensure we get the best spot as well as ensuring our guests the most time in the water.

The Sandie Cat is a custom 65 foot Gold Coast luxury yacht that is coast guard regulated for 149 passengers and is fully equipped and includes;

Knowing how to swim is highly recommended. We do provide various life jackets and BC vests to accommodate all levels of swimming experience. Additionally we have swim noodles our snorkelers can use for additional comfort.

We have a large staircase the crew will deploy into the water. It makes it really easy to get in and out. The boat also has a platform at the back of the boat which allows for easy access in and out of the water. For those who are looking for a little more action packed entry, we have multiple spots that you can jump in from as well as a water slide at the back of the boat.
