This tour not only takes you completely around the island of Key West but also stops at a sandbar, giving you an amazing jet ski ride combined with an awesome tour. Additional, stops may include Key West Harbor, Southernmost Point, Florida Keys Wildlife Sanctuary, Boca Chica Sandbar, and a few other secret spots.
This trip is consistently voted as one of the top things to do in Key West. This action-packed 28-mile jet ski tour stops at five to six different locations as you learn some historic and fun facts about the island.
Our entertaining and experienced jet ski guides show you how to use the equipment, then they take you all the way around the island to see the Key West coastline. We have the newest jet skis in The Florida Keys. Each year we get brand new units to ensure our guests are riding top of the line jetskis with the best performance. This tour is perfect for experienced jet skiers and beginners as well. Our experienced guides will take the full throttle adrenaline seekers to the front of the pack with our lead guide, while those looking for a more leisurely tour get to cruise with the guide in the back. (This activity is operated by Key West Jet Ski Inc.)
Required – Florida Boaters Safety: Florida law requires everyone born after Jan 1, 1988 to take a boaters safety test to drive any jetski or boat. Each driver must present a passed boaters safety test & matching photo ID prior to departure. It’s a quick & easy test required by the State of Florida that can be taken online in less than 15 minutes, click here.
*Jetski Rentals: Please note that Key West is located in The Florida Marine Sanctuary, which is a highly protected waterway. Due to this jetski rentals are frowned upon. With that said jetski tours are the way to go! Our expert guides will take you to some of the best locations you could never find on your own. They will ensure you do not venture into any restricted waters & ensure you are completely safe. Jetski tours are the only way to go!

- Florida Boaters Safety: Florida Law requires everyone born after Jan 1, 1988 to take a boaters safety test to drive a jet ski. Each driver must present a passed boaters safety test prior to departure. Tests can be taken online, click here.
- In order to drive a jetski, guests must be 16 years old with valid ID & parents must be present to rent the jetski as well as ride on the back of that jetski. Guests 18 years of age are allowed to ride by themselves with valid photo ID. Guests also must be able to understand English. Our guides will give our safety speech and directions in English. Participants must be able to understand our guides in order to participate.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any trip canceled before 24 hours in advance will be refunded in full. Our captains assess the weather on the day of the scheduled activity. If they determine that the trip will be unsafe, the trip will be postponed or canceled. We will immediately try to reschedule our guests’ activity if possible, but we will issue full refunds if need be.

Absolutely! Our experienced jet ski guides give expert instruction on how to operate the jet ski and ensure each and every driver is completely comfortable before beginning the tour.

Our jet ski guides make multiple stops along the trip. Stops may include the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, Southernmost Point, military base, Boca Chica sandbar or another sandbar for a nice dip. Each trip stop is weather permitting. Our guides will take you to the best locations around the island based on the weather during your trip.

No, a parent needs to actually rent the jet ski, sign the release form & ride on the back of the jet ski with them. At the age of 18 we allow individuals to ride by themselves. Additionally, everyone born after January 1st 1988 is required to take a boaters safety test.

Our waverunners / jet skis are replaced each and every year to ensure we have the highest quality jet skis on the island of Key West. They go from 40-60 mph.
If you are not looking to go fast, don’t worry! We let the speed demons ride as fast as they want while the drivers looking for more of a casual trip around the island travel in the second group.

Check in depends on the location of your tour. If your tour leaves from Parrot Key the address is 2801 N. Roosevelt BLVD, Key West 33040. If your tour leaves from Cow Key the address is 5001 5th Avenue Key West, 33040. Check in 1 hour prior to departure time.

We do not have lockers, but we have cubby spaces guests can use at our check in booth where they can leave their belongings. We recommend that guests bring minimal items along.

Pack light! All you really need is a swimsuit, sunscreen, and your sense of adventure. We provide all the gear you need, including life jackets. Each jetski does have a small compartment aboard for you to stow your phone.
