4. Visit the Southernmost Point
The Southernmost Point Buoy is one of Key West’s most visited and photographed landmarks on the island. The anchored concrete buoy marks the southernmost point in the United States. The buoy was originally an old sewer junction that was dug up in the area and found too heavy and large to move, so it was painted up to look like a buoy.
